(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 14) – Junior Joseph Mahan (Corinth, TX/John H Guyer High School) of the men's water polo team was named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division-II All-American team. The team was released Friday morning.
 
Mahan is the first student-athlete in the McKendree men's water polo program to be named to the ACWPC All-American team.
 
On the season, Mahan raked in 76 goals, helping the Bearcats to their first ever MAWPC Tournament berth.
 
Prior to this award, Mahan has received two previous accolades by being named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division-II All-Tournament team on Oct. 14 and CWPA Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) West Region All-Conference second team.
