(Indianapolis, IN, March 10) – The No. 21 McKendree University women's lacrosse team moved to 1-1 on the 2018 season after dropping an 18-9 contest against No. 11 Indianapolis this evening.
Paige Salthouse (St. Louis, MO/Ursuline Academy) led the Bearcats offensively scoring four goals.
Rylee Skachenko (Oceanside, CA/Carlsbad) added three while
Mia Fiore (Eureka, MO/Eureka High School) and
Dana DiPasquale (St. Charles, MO/Barat Academy) each added one. Fiore assisted on two goals with
Kayla Smith (O'Fallon, IL/O'Fallon Township) and DiPasquale both adding an assist as well.
The Greyhounds offense was sparked by Lauryn Hardoy who tallied nine points on four goals. Grace Gunneson added six points on five goals to the mix.
Collin Patton (Wildwood, MO/Eureka) played all 60 minutes in cage collecting eight saves.
The women's lacrosse team is back in action on Tuesday when the team travels South to Florida Tech to open up the spring break trip.
