(Lebanon, Ill., March, 4) – The McKendree University softball team moved to 10-3 overall after a 3-2 win over Northwest Missouri State and an 11-10 win against Nebraska-Kearney this morning.

The Bearcats scored three runs in the fifth inning after
Miranda Gajewski (Kronenwetter, WI/D.C. Everest) reached on an error scoring three runs. Gejewski tossed 6.2 innings only allowing two runs.
Maci Ingram (Woodlawn, Ill./Nashville Community) came in to secure the save for her third of the season.
Game 2
McKendree 11 Nebraska-Kearney 10
Sara Radae (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) proved to be the walk off hero after a single in the bottom of the seventh scoring two runs to give the Bearcats a 11-10 victory. McKendree found production from a group of Bearcats as Franke drove in three, S. Radae added two, and Stephens, Lowry, and M. Gajewski all added one.
The McKendree University softball team is back in action Wednesday March 7 at home as the Bearcats host Saginaw Valley State for a double header with first pitch at 3 p.m.
