(LEBANON, Ill., APRIL 5) – The McKendree University women's water polo team is set to host a tournament at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex this weekend with contests on Saturday and Sunday. The Bearcats will honor the three seniors before the final home contest of the season on Sunday against Monmouth College.
 
McKendree will play host to Monmouth University and fellow Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) teams, Gannon University and Mercyhurst University. All games will be live streamed HERE.

The Bearcats are 7-10 overall on the season, winning three of their last five contests. McKendree was last in action at the Convergence Tournament in Claremont, Calif. on March 1-3.
 
Leading the scoring charge this season has been freshman attacker Emily Westlove with 48 goals. Westlove is second on the team in both steals and assists, recording 22 steals and eight assists. Senior attacker Sabrina Sherrin has netted 32 goals on the year, with four assists, and 14 steals. On the other side of the ball, freshman goalie Crystal Armstrong and senior goalie Gabby Madwell have split time in the cage posting a combined 124 saves.
