(LEBANON, Ill., Sep 30) – The McKendree University women's soccer team defeated the University of Southern Indiana Sunday afternoon 2-1, adding another win to their Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) record. The Bearcats now sit at 7-1-1 overall and 4-1-1 in GLVC play.

Kate Bixby (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt North). Defensively, goaltender
Zoe Brochu (Ajax, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) gave another stellar performance, making a total of seven saves, three of which came in the overtime periods.
The women's soccer team will return to action Tuesday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m. as they take on Lindenwood University-Belleville at home in a non-conference matchup.
