(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 16) – The McKendree University women's volleyball team will pause Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) competition to face teams from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) in the 12^th annual Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover in Indianapolis, Ind., Oct. 18-19.

The Bearcats will begin the tournament with a match against GMAC competitor Ohio Dominican University at 11 a.m. ET on Friday. The Panthers currently sit in ninth place in their conference with a 2-4 GMAC record. Overall, Ohio Dominican is 2-16 on the 2019 season.

Also on Friday, McKendree will face GMAC opponent, Lake Erie College, at 6 p.m. ET. Lake Erie is in seventh place in their conference with a 2-3 record. Overall on the 2019 season, Lake Erie College is 7-13.

The Bearcats last match will be Saturday at 1 p.m. ET against GMAC member, Davenport University. The Panthers are in third place in the south division standings and seventh overall in the GMAC with a 4-5 conference record and 6-11 overall record. McKendree defeated Davenport in the 2018 Midwest Region Crossover, 3-1.

The Bearcats are 8-10 overall on the season and 3-4 in GLVC play. Currently, McKendree sits in tenth place in conference competition. The Bearcats will hop back into GLVC competition on Oct. 25 with a match at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky., at 7 p.m. ET.
