(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 17) – The McKendree University men's soccer team will host two Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) foes this weekend, beginning with Lewis University this Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Prairie Stars of the University of Illinois Springfield this Sunday, October 20 at 2:30 p.m. The Bearcats, currently ranked no. 22 in the nation, are on a seven-game win streak and currently sit atop the GLVC standings with an 8-1-2 overall record and a 7-0-2 showing in GLVC play.
 
The Flyers of Lewis enter Friday's match at 7-3-2 overall and 4-3-2 in GLVC play, dropping their most recent contest to Bellarmine 2-1 on October 13.
 
Illinois Springfield comes into Sunday's contest at 5-5-2 overall and 3-4-2 in GLVC play after most recently falling to UIndy 2-1 this past Sunday.
