Box Score (JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., Nov. 15) – The McKendree men's soccer team bested the Screaming Eagles of the University of Southern Indiana 1-0 this Friday evening and will now advance to the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament Championship where they will face Bellarmine University this upcoming Sunday, November 17.
 
McKendree's James Stone (Eastbourne, England/Bede's Senior School) delivered the game-winner in 39^th minute of play on a header courtesy of a Javi Soto (Santiago, Chile) assist. Although it was a one-goal match, the full 90 minutes was a shootout involving both sides, with both the Screaming Eagles and the Bearcats combining for 33 shots. Redshirt-junior goalkeeper Pachu Cortazar (Asuncion, Paraguay/Santa Teresa de Jesus) made four saves in the winning effort while also collecting his 11^th shutout of the 2019 season.
