(QUINCY, Ill., Nov. 16) – The McKendree University women's volleyball team defeated Quincy University, 3-1 in its final match of the 2019 season Saturday. The Bearcats are 14-15 overall and 7-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).
McKendree fell to the Hawks in the first set, 25-22. The Bearcats answered back with emphasis, taking the second set, 25-15. The momentum remained with McKendree in both the third and fourth sets, winning 25-23 in the third set and 25-21 in the fourth.

Maddie Misner (Carbondale, IL/Carbondale), senior outside hitter
Kelly Voss (St. Rose, IL/Mater Dei), and sophomore middle blocker
Hope Gramly (Prosper, TX/Prosper) all recorded double-digit kills in the four set match. Misner tallied 15 kills to lead the Bearcats' offense, Voss collected 12, and Gramly followed with 10.
Defensively, Voss collected 12 digs to record a double-double in her last match as a Bearcat. Senior libero
Alissa Zeitelhack (Overland Park, KS/Blue Valley West) also had an impressive last match for McKendree tallying 21 total digs to lead the Bearcats' back line.
