(LEBANON, Ill., Mar. 14) – The McKendree University women's lacrosse team will play host to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foes Ashland this Friday, March 15 and the University of Indianapolis this Sunday, March 17.
 
This past weekend, the Bearcats when 1-1, falling to the Dragons of Tiffin University 13-8 and then securing their first win of the season against the Oilers of the University of Findlay 12-11. Senior captain Emily Nelson (Deephaven, MN/Holy Family Catholic) was named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week for her seven-point effort through both games as well.
 
Ashland is currently 1-2 on the season, most recently falling to Mars Hill 16-11 on March 7. The game against the Eagles will begin at 4 p.m. CT on Friday.
 
The Greyhounds of UIndy are currently 4-1 on the year after most recently toppling Lake Erie 26-2 on March 9. The game against the Greyhounds will begin at Noon this Sunday.
