(ST. LOUIS, Mo., Mar. 26) - The McKendree University women's lacrosse team travels to St. Louis, MO to face off against the Saints of Maryville Univerisy in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) matchup this Wednesday, March 27 at 5 p.m.
The Bearcats go into Wednesday's game with a 4-3 overall and 3-1 GLIAC record after most recently besting the Golden Bears of Concordia - St. Paul 17-12 on Leemon Field this past Sunday. Offensively, McKendree has been led by senior attacker
Emily Nelson (Deephaven, MN/Holy Family Catholic) who has recorded 30 points through seven games, followed by freshman attacker
Kathryn Albrecht (Louisville, KY/Eastern High School) and senior midfielder
Hannah Sugarman (Holden, MA/Wachusett Regional) with 24 points and 21 points, respectively.
The Saints of Maryville, in their programs first year of existance, are 1-7 overall and 0-5 in GLIAC play, most recently falling to Northern Michigan University 14-8 this past Sunday, March 24.
