(LEBANON, Ill., Mar. 28) - The McKendree University women's lacrosse team hit the road this weekend for a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) matches against the likes of Grand Valley State University this Friday, March 29 at 5 p.m. and Davenport University this Sunday, March 31 at 11 a.m.

The Bearcats are currently 5-3 on the year and 4-1 in GLIAC play after most recently steam-rolling the Saints of Maryville University 25-3 this past Wednesday. Last season, McKendree went 1-2 against the Lakers of Grand Valley, emerging victorious in the GLIAC conference tournament semi-final game 27-19, while going undefeated against Davenport in both regular-season meetings.

Grand Valley, currently ranked 21st nationally by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), is currently 6-3 overall and 3-1 in GLIAC play after most recently falling to no. 12 UIndy 13-7 this past Sunday, March 24.

The Panthers of Davenport is 5-4 on the year and 2-2 in GLIAC play after most recently besting Ashland University 20-8 this past Sunday, March 24.
