(LEBANON, Ill., April 11)—The McKendree University baseball team has moved up its Great Lakes Valley Conference three-game series at home against the University of Illinois Springfield due to an unfavorable forecast for Sunday.
 
The Bearcats and Prairie Stars will begin the weekend with a single game on Friday at 2 p.m. before finishing off the weekend on Saturday with a doubleheader that starts at 11 a.m. All three games will be played at McKendree's Hypes Field.
 
McKendree will play six of its next eight games at home, all against GLVC competition. In addition to the three games against UIS, the Bearcats will host Missouri S&T for league play April 19-20. McKendree has a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday at Southwest Baptist University sandwiched in between the two league series.
