(LEBANON, Ill., Apr. 13) - The McKendree University women's lacrosse team returns home after being on the road for six straight games to take on the Flyers of Lewis University in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) action this Sunday, April 14 at 12 p.m.

The Bearcats enter the conference with a 7-6 overall record and 6-3 GLIAC record, good for third in conference standings with just a handful of games remaining in the regular season. Freshman attacker Kathryn Albrecht (Louisville, KY/Eastern High School) leads the Bearcats offensively this season with 61 points, closely followed by senior Emily Nelson (Deephaven, MN/Holy Family Catholic) with 59 points. Senior midfielder Hannah Sugarman (Holden, MA/Wachusett Regional) leads all Bearcats in ground balls with 58.

The Flyers of Lewis enter Sunday's contest with a 1-7 record after most recently falling to Maryville University 10-9.
