(KIRKSVILLE, Mo., Apr. 15) - The McKendree University softball team fell in two games to Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) foe Truman State earlier today, dropping game one by a 4-0 decision and game two 13-0.
In game one, Bearcat pitcher
Kylee Silliman (Fremont, IA/Oskaloosa) threw six great innings allowing just six hits and two earned runs, however McKendree was unable to capitalize on offense.
The Bearcats are now 18-26 overall and 3-15 in conference play, as they aim to get back in the win collumn this upcoming weekend.
The Bearcats will be back in action as they head home to Bearcat Field this Friday, April 19 to take on the Greyhounds of UIndy in another GLVC doublheader.
