(ROMEOVILLE, Ill., Apr.23) - The McKendree University women's lacrosse team will head out on the road for the final time during the 2019 regular season as they take on Lewis University this Wednesday April 24 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action.
The Bearcats are currently 8-6 overall and 7-3 in GLIAC play, good for a no. 3 ranking in the lastest GLIAC poll. Senior attacker
Emily Nelson (Deephaven, MN/Holy Family Catholic) currently paces the McKendree offense with a total of 66 points through 14 games, closely followed by freshman attacker
Kathryn Albrecht (Louisville, KY/Eastern High School) who totals 65 points through 14 games played. The Bearcats also look to remain undefeated against Lewis in regular season play after besting the Flyers on Sunday, April 14 by a 19-0 score.
The Flyers head into Wednesday's matchup with a 1-10 overall and a 1-9 GLIAC record after falling to Davenport 21-8 on Saturday, April 20.
