(ST. CHARLES, Mo., Apr. 3) - Despite a formidable offensive effort in the second half , the McKendree University women's lacrosse team ultimately fell to no. 4 Lindenwood University the past Wednesday night. The Bearcats are now 6-5 overall on the season and 5-2 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) play as they head back into conference play this upcoming weekend.

The Lions of Lindenwood jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and was able to maintain their goal advantage through the first half, having an answer to every Bearcat goal scored. The second half saw the Bearcats exploding on the offensive end by going on a four-goal run, as well as holding the fourth-ranked Lions scoreless until the 15th minute of second half play.
