(LEBANON, Ill., April 8) – The McKendree University men's volleyball team will be hosting Ball State University on Saturday April 13 at 7 p.m. for the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) quarterfinals. This is the first time in program history that the Bearcats earned home-court advantage in postseason competition.

The Bearcats finished the regular season in fourth place in the MIVA standings with a 12-12 overall record and 7-7 MIVA record after falling to Ball State, 3-2 on Thursday and then defeating Purdue Fort Wayne 3-2 on Saturday.

McKendree had to travel to Muncie, Ind., for last season's 2018 MIVA Quarterfinals match where it fell to the Cardinals then, 3-0. This year, the Bearcats have split a pair of matches with Ball State. McKendree swept them 3-0 on the road and fell to them in a close 3-2 match at home.

The match will have both live stats and live stream.
