(LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 6) – The McKendree University women's soccer team will begin their 2019 regular season campaign this weekend on their home turf of Leemon field, first by taking on Kentucky Wesleyan College this Saturday, September 7 at Noon followed by a matchup against Ohio Dominican University at Noon on Sunday, September 8. The Bearcats enter the 2019 season with the second spot in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) preseason poll.
 
The Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan will begin their season on Saturday as well. In the last meeting between the Bearcats and the Panthers (2018), McKendree found themselves victorious by the score of 1-0.
 
Ohio Dominican will open their 2019 campaign this Friday, September 6 on the road against the University of Illinois Springfield before making the trip to Lebanon to face the Bearcats on Sunday.
