(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 14) – The McKendree University women's water polo team is prepping for its first road weekend at the Mercyhurst Invite in Erie, Penn. The Bearcats will play four games in total, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
 
Saturday's games will be against Virginia Military Institute at 2:00pm ET and LaSalle University at 5:45pm ET. Sunday's games feature Bucknell University at 8:00am ET and Siena College at 1:00pm ET.
 
The Bearcats sit at 2-0 overall after defeating Wittenberg and Lindenwood during their opening weekend on Feb. 1-2.
 
On offense, senior Brianna Mullalley (Chula Vista, CA/Eastlake High School) and junior Emily Westlove (Naperville, IL/Naperville Central High School) lead with total points. Mullalley leads with nine goals, posting two assists and Westlove totals seven goals and four assists. Sophomore Maddy Bolton (Alta Loma, CA/Los Osos High School) follows with five goals, two assists, and seven points.
 
Defensively, Westlove adds in eight steals. Sophomore Carley Manuel (Lantana, TX/Guyer High School) chips in four steals while both freshman Lindy Justice (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada/Vimy Ridge Academy) and sophomore Mikayla Davis (Flower Mound, TX/Flower Mound High School) have three steals.
