(ERIE, Penn., Feb. 16) – The McKendree University women's water polo team closed out the Mercyhurst Invite with an overtime loss to Siena, then falling to 14-7 to Bucknell. The Bearcats played tough against all Division-I opponents during the Invite.
The Bearcats sit at 2-4 overall on the season following the weekend.
Against Bucknell, senior

Lindy Justice (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada/Vimy Ridge Academy), and sophomore
Maddy Bolton (Alta Loma, CA/Los Osos High School) each added in a goal.
Junior
Alaina Johnson (Mason, OH/William Mason High School) and freshman
Delaney Hall (Napoleon, OH/Napoleon High School) led the game with two assists each. Sophomore
Carley Manuel (Lantana, TX/Guyer High School) and Bolton also dished out an assist.
In the cage, sophomore
Isabella Strimling (Brentwood, CA/Heritage High School) made nine saves in the game.
In the 18-14 overtime loss to Siena, Westlove found the back of the cage seven times. Sophomore
Danielle Borelli (Laguna Beach, CA/Laguna Beach High School) followed up with four goals. Mullalley managed two scores and Johnson scored once.
Mullalley dished out a game high three assists. Johnson threw out two helpers while Kishimoto, Westlove, Borelli, and Hall each had one assist.
Strimling made 17 saves in the game, counting one steal and one assist.
