(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 21) – The McKendree University women's water polo team is heading back east to Pennsylvania for the Washington and Jefferson Invite on Saturday and Sunday. The Bearcats will face Penn State Behrend, Gannon University on Saturday and Virginia Military Institute, Grove City College on Sunday.
 
Saturday's game times are 11:10am ET and 3:50pm ET, Sunday's games are at 9:10am ET and 12:40pm ET.
 
The Bearcats are 2-4 overall on the young season after competing in the Mercyhurst Invite last weekend, Feb. 15-16.
 
On the season, senior Brianna Mullalley (Chula Vista, CA/Eastlake High School) leads the offense with 20 goals, two assists, and 22 points. Junior Emily Westlove (Naperville, IL/Naperville Central High School) follows with 15 goals and a team-leading five assists. Sophomore Maddy Bolton (Alta Loma, CA/Los Osos High School) follows with nine goals, two assists, and 11 points.
 
The matchup with Gannon University on Saturday marks the opening game for Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) play.
