(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 26) – The McKendree University men's volleyball team is set to begin a four-game road series with Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) matches at Loyola University Chicago and No. 14 Purdue Fort Wayne. The contest against the Ramblers is set for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and then the game against Purdue Fort Wayne is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. ET.
The Bearcats swept its MIVA opponents this past weekend in its last two contests defeating Lindenwood 3-1 on Thursday and then Quincy University 3-1 on Saturday. The two wins kept the Bearcats undefeated at home increasing their win streak to six at home.

Patrick Ross (Anthem, AZ/Boulder Creek) and senior opposite
Zach Schnittker (Arlington Heights, IL/Buffalo Grove) lead the team in kills as the only two with triple digit kills on the season. Ross leads the way with 115 kills with Schnittker close behind with 109 kills on the season. Schnittker had to transition to the setter position this past weekend when sophomore setter
Ryan Serrano (Anthem, AZ/Boulder Creek) was taken out due to injury.
The Bearcats' leader in digs is freshman libero
Francisco Comas (Naperville, IL/Neuqua Valley High School) who has recorded 120 digs on the season. Comas' performance this past weekend awarded him with MIVA Defensive Player of the Week honors. Leading McKendree in blocking efforts on the season is junior middle blocker
Wyatt Dimke (Ham Lake, MN/Blaine) and senior middle blocker Luacs Galifos, Dimke with 50 total blocks and Galifos with 46.
McKendree will continue its four-game road stint with two back-to-back matches at the University of Charleston in West Virginia March 13-14.
