(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 5) –
The McKendree University men's basketball team is scheduled to face Missouri S&T on Thursday, Feb, 6 in Rolla, Mo., and then Maryville University on Saturday, Feb. 8 in St. Louis, Mo. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Bearcats are 11-9 overall on the season and 6-6 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). In its last pair of matches, McKendree defeated Lindenwood University in overtime 121-116 and then fell to GLVC frontrunner and then No. 15 Missouri-St. Louis, the Tritons have since advanced to No. 13 in the latest NCAA NABC Coaches Poll.

Senior guard Logan Kohrmann (Bartelso, IL/Breese Central) leads the team in scoring averaging 19.5 points per game with 389 total points on the season. This past weekend, Kohrmann averaged 33 points per game and recorded a new career high 39 points in the overtime win against the Lions. Kohrmann's strong performance earned him his first GLVC athlete of the week honor.

Junior guard Oliver Stephen (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville), senior forward Nate Bethel (Nassau, Bahamas/St. Louis Christian Academy), and freshman forward Bryson Bultman (Nashville, IL/Nashville) are also high impact players for the Bearcats. Stephen is averaging double-digit points for McKendree with 12.2 PPG and is leading the team in three-pointers made with 65 on the season. Bethel leads the conference in free throw percentage at 95.6 percent and is averaging 9.5 PPG for the Bearcats. Bultman leads the team in rebounds with 126 and in assists with 45 on the season.

As a team, McKendree sits in second place in the conference in free throw percentages at 77.7 percent. The Bearcats are also ranked third place in the league in both three-point field goal percentages at 39.6 percent and three-point field goal percentage defense and 33.1 percent. On the season, McKendree has made 192 three-point baskets, the fourth highest in the GLVC.

The Bearcats will return home to take on No. 13 UMSL on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. followed by a game against Lindenwood on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.

ABOUT MISSOURI S&T:
The Miners are 4-14 overall on the season and 2-10 in the GLVC. Missouri S&T sits in 15th place in the league rankings after falling to Southwest Baptist 93-76 in its last conference matchup. Three Minors are averaging double-digit points on the season. Dulan Scott leads the team with 14.2 PPG, CJ Hedgepeth follows closely with 13.1 PPG, and Mitch Fairless rounds out the efforts with 11.5 PPG. Chima Oduocha and Fairless lead team in rebounds, Oduocha with 103 and Fairless with 101.

ABOUT MARYVILLE:
The Saints are 4-15 overall on the season and 0-12 in GLVC play. Maryville sits at the bottom of the conference rankings after falling to Drury 76-65 in its last contest. Two Saints are averaging double-digit points per game on the season. Parker Long leads the efforts with 14.1 PPG and Jalen Gant follows with 13.3 PPG. Gant is also the team leader in rebounds with 82 on the season followed by Kamto Eze who has 77 recorded rebounds of the season.
