(LEBANON, Ill., Mar.1) – The McKendree University women's lacrosse was topped by the visiting Lakers of Grand Valley State University this Sunday afternoon by a score of 20-9. The Bearcats are now 2-1 on their 2020 campaign.

Kathryn Albrecht (Louisville, KY/Eastern High School) had an exemplary offensive day, scoring three goals and tallying one assist. Defensively, Albrecht also led in caused turnovers with two, while junior midfielder
Sarah Hardin (Pacific, MO/Eureka) led McKendree in ground balls with four. Sophomore goalkeeper
Clara Andrews (St. Louis, MO/Nerinx Hall High School) made nine saves in the loss.
Women's lacrosse will be back in action this upcoming Wednesday, March 4 as they play host to the University of Findlay at 4 p.m. on Leemon Field.
