(BLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 8) – The McKendree University women's water polo team closed the Hoosier Invite against the host, Indiana University on Sunday morning with an 18-6 loss.
 
At the end of the weekend, the Bearcats sit at 4-9 overall and 0-2 in Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) play.
 
Senior Brianna Mullalley (Chula Vista, CA/Eastlake High School) and sophomore Abigail Burton (Chino, CA/Chino High School) led the offense with two goals apiece. Junior Emily Westlove (Naperville, IL/Naperville Central High School) and sophomore Carley Manuel (Lantana, TX/Guyer High School) contributed the other goals for McKendree.
 
The Bearcats will head to California for games on March 11-13 against Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State East Bay, and Sonoma State University.
