(LEBANON, Ill. – Feb. 16) – No.14 McKendree University men's volleyball opposite Zach Schnittker (Arlington Heights, IL/Buffalo Grove) was named Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) Offensive Player of the Week, based off his performance in the two-game sweep over Ohio State University this past weekend.

Schnittker led the way for the Bearcats in their two-game sweep over Ohio State University this past weekend. Schnittker finished the weekend with 20 kills and a .333 hitting percentage. He tallied 10 kills and one service ace in each game against the Buckeyes.

This is Schnittker's first time receiving the MIVA Offensive Player of the Week honor, but second weekly honor overall. last season, the opposite earned a Defensive Player of the Week honor on Feb.11.

The No.14 McKendree University men's volleyball team will be back in the Harry M. Statham Sports Center, for a two-game matchup with MIVA rival Quincy University. First serve is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 PM, and again on Friday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 PM.
