(LEBANON, Ill. – Feb. 25) – The McKendree University women's volleyball team will compete at their second Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Triangular this weekend. The Bearcats will travel to St. Charles, Mo., to compete against T-No.25 Missouri S&T and Lindenwood on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Nickie Sanlin's team is coming off a two-game victory weekend in their first GLVC Triangular this past weekend. The Bearcats defeated Quincy in four sets, recording their most kills this season at 60, with a .264 hitting percentage. Later that same day, the Bearcats tallied 36 kills in the three-set sweep over William Jewell. The Bearcats advanced to 2-4 (2-4 in GLVC), averaging 12.2 kills per set with a .163 hitting percentage, along with 1.4 service aces and 2.1 blocks per set.

About T-No.25 Missouri S&T
Missouri S&T is 4-2 (4-2 in GLVC) heading into this weekend. Miners split their two games Saturday afternoon, defeating Illinois-Springfield in three sets and falling to Truman State in four sets. Miners established an early lead over the Prairie stars to take the first set, opened the second set on a hot streak, and battled for control in the third set. The Miners took the first set against the Bulldogs, but could not keep control for the following three sets, capitalizing on the Miners' unforced mistakes. About Lindenwood
Lindenwood is 2-3 (2-3 in GLVC) following a split doubleheader weekend. The defeated No.6 Rockhurst in three sets and falling to No.17 Southern Indiana in three sets. The Lions were unanswered in a 4-0 run to take the first set, came back to take the lead on a 12-3 run to win the second set, and would not trail at end point in the third set to take the match sweep against the Hawks.
