The McKendree University women's lacrosse team improved its record to 5-1 following an 18-6 win over Maryville University.
How it Happened
Mckendree got their offense going early, scoring the first nine goals of the contest within the first 10 minutes of play. Senior
Rylee Skachenko accounted for three of the 10 goals, junior
Kat Albrecht added two goals and assisted on all three of Skachenko's goals. Skachenko would add two more goals in the half.
The second half would see McKendree keep the pressure on the Saints with Albrecht and Skachenko adding one more goal apiece.
Albrecht would finish the night with 11 points and Skachenko would finish with seven.
