About Southwest Baptist University
Southwest Baptist is 1-4 (1-4) heading into this week's tri-match. The Bearcats dropped both of their matches on Saturday, 0-3, to Quincy and University of Illinois-Springfield, Sunday afternoon. Southwest Baptist established an early lead over Quincy in the first set, but Quincy controlled the second half of the set and the two sets after for the 3-0 sweep. A late momentum surge from Southwest Baptist was not enough to battle with Illinois-Springfield in their first set. The second set between the Bearcats and Prairie Starts was a lot closer, but the Bearcats would not hold on and were swept again 3-0. For more information about the Bearcats, click
