The McKendree University baseball team's record fell to 10-7 following today's loss to the Lewis University Flyers by a score of 15-2.
How It Happened
Things started off rough for the visiting Bearcats. Lewis offense came out on fire scoring 11 runs in the second inning. The Bearcats would try to claw themselves back into the game with two runs in the fourth inning but it wouldn't be able to get their offense going.

Joseph Copeland drove in the only two runs for the Bearcats following a two-run home run in the fourth inning. Graduate student
Jared Timmerman suffered his first loss of the season following one and thirds inning of work.
