The McKendree University men's rugby team went 3-0 against Maryville University on Saturday afternoon, winning 40-0, 31-0 and 27-0.

Game One
The Bearcats struck first in the second minute when
Peyton Siepert recorded a try but failed the conversion. Three minutes later,
Andre Greenup recorded a try and
Sam Griffey converted on the conversion.
Ayemere Oiyemhonlan would follow up in the seventh minute and Griffey would again covert. The final two tries would be recorded by Oiyemhonlan and
Dalton Viglasky with the Bearcats going 1-2 on conversions.

Game TwoÂ
The Bearcats wasted no time getting started in game two, with Viglasky recording a try in the first minute, but the Bearcats failed to convert. Four minutes later, Oiyemhonlan would get on the board with a try of his own. Greenup and Griffey would record the final three tries of game two with only one of them being converted.

Game Three
The Bearcats kept the pressure on the Saints in game three. Greenup got the Bearcats started in the second minute with his fourth try of the afternoon and
Trevor Gillen would convert. Oiyemhonlan would record two tries in the third and fifth minute with Gillen converting on both.
In the seventh minute, Gillen would record a try of his own and covert.
Maurice Humboldt would get in on the action in the 12
th minute with a try but failed to convert.

The Bearcats close their season out when they travel to Iowa City, Iowa for three matches against the University of Iowa.
