Urbana-Champaign, Ill.—McKendree rugby traveled to the University of Illinois to compete in the Battle of Illinois match. The Bearcats came out on top with a 59-15 win.
Senior Jan Mana Vazquez scored three tries, while freshman Tyler Coughlan, freshman Conor Brown, junior Biel Llenas Martinez, sophomore Lachlan King, sophomore Jacob Kinnaird, and freshman Jake Flowers all posted one try. Senior Ethan Edwards had seven conversions.
