The McKendree University baseball team fell to 12-16 following an 11-2 loss against the No.10 Lindenwood Lions.

The Lions jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the second inning. The Lions would then strike again with another three runs in the fourth inning. McKendree would strike back with two runs of their own when
Hayden Schaefer launched his second home run of the season to make the score 7-2.
The Lions would go on to add another four runs over the next three innings and keep the Bearcats off the scoreboard for the rest of the afternoon.
Evan Spears got the nod for the Bearcats and suffered his second loss of the season after throwing four innings and striking out two while surrendering seven hits.
