The McKendree University women's rugby team defeated the Maryville Saints in three matches by final scores of 10-0, 10-0 and 15-7.
Stephany Ahmed recorded her first try of the year to give McKendree a 5-0 lead following a failed conversion in the third minute.
Koran Mason-El would add another try in the seventh minute but McKendree would fail the conversation to give the Bearcats a 10-0 lead.
Abigail Burton would strike first for the Bearcats in game two but would fail the conversion to give them a 5-0 lead. Mason-El would add another try in the seventh minute to give them the 10-0 lead.
In game three
Lauren Martin would record her first try in the seven minute but fail to covert to give McKendree a 5-0 lead going into halftime.
Maryville would get on the board in the tenth minute and covert to take a 7-5 lead. That lead would not last long when Burton and Mason-El would each record tries of their own to secure the 15-7 win.
