ROLLA, Mo. -- On March 1st and 2nd, the McKendree women's rugby team traveled to Missouri S&T in Rolla, Missouri to compete in the Saint Patrick's 7s tournament. They placed 3^rd at that tournament. 

The Bearcats dropped their match one against Colorado School of Mines 24-15. The second match versus University of South Dakota, the Bearcats drew 17-17. Match three against Drury University was lost 28-15, and the final match of the tournament against Missouri S&T, the Bearcats pull out a 15-5 win.
 

CHICAGO, Ill. -- On March 15^th, the Bearcats traveled to Chicago, Illinois to compete in the Dawgtown 7s tournament hosted by Loyola University-Chicago.

The Bearcats played three matches, going 1-3. The first match versus Adrian College, McKendree fell 32-17. Next match was against Loyola University Chicago B Team, where the Bearcats won 50-0. The Bearcats fell in the final match of the day versus Loyola University Chicago A team 22-17. 

The match player of the weekend was Kayden Lewis, who had three tries, 12 tackles, and three completed point after kick attempts.

Kiona Conner also scored six tries and had 15 tackles on the day.
