COLUMBIA, Mo. –  The women's rugby team traveled to Columbia Missouri for two games against University of Central Missouri and Missouri S&T on Saturday September 28^th.

Game 1 v. University of Central Missouri

The Bearcats fell to the University of Central Missouri 5-20.

Head Coach Daniel Jones said "The game was a great learning experience. McKendree came out strong and defensive and held the defensive line well. The biggest problem we faced was having no ball to score with".

Game 2 v. Missouri S&T

The Bearcats fell to Missouri S&T 12-19.

Head Coach Daniel Jones said "We learned a lot from the first game in which we worked on and changed but we could not finish in the opponents 22 and convert the trips into points."

Sasha Fernandez-Ricci had 3 tried on the day.

The Bearcats are back in action October 5^th in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the University of Arkansas. Game time is TBD.
