LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's hockey team has released their schedule for the 2021-22 season. 

The Bearcats open the season with four straight games against Women's Midwest College Hockey conference opponent Maryville University. The Bearcats open on Saturday, Sept. 25 at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex against Maryville. The teams will play at Maryville on Sunday, Sept. 26. The Bearcats and Saints will conclude the season series with two more games on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Rec Plex and Friday, Oct. 15 at at Maryville. 

The Bearcats will return home to play Aquinas College on Friday, Oct. 22. The game against Aquinas will also be Homecoming weekend for all of Bearcat athletics. After one game away from conference play the Bearcats return to conference play for one game against Lindenwood University at the Rec Plex on Saturday, Nov. 6.  

The next four games for the Bearcats will be against non-conference opponents. The first of those four will be at home against Grand Canyon University on Saturday, Nov. 13. The Bearcats will travel to the east coast to play at the University of Massachusetts on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19 and 20. The Bearcats trip will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 21 against the University of Rhode Island.  

After the game against Rhode Island, the Bearcats will resume conference play with a game against Midland University at the Rec Plex on Saturday, Jan. 15. The Bearcats will play Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 18 and 19 against conference opponent Minot State University at the Rec Plex.  

The Bearcats will conclude their nonconference schedule with games against Davenport University at the Rec Plex on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 21 and 22. The Bearcats will condlude the regular season with their final six games being against conference opponents and four of the final six will be away from home.  

The Bearcats will play the first of their final four away games at Lindenwood on Saturday, Jan. 29. McKendree will return to the Rec Plex on Friday, Feb. 4 against Liberty University. The Bearcats will then play there final three away games against Lindenwood on Sunday, Feb. 6 and against Midland on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12. 

McKendree will conclude the regular season with a home game against the University of Minnesota on Friday, Feb. 18. The Bearcats will kick off postseason play with the WMCH conference tournament Friday-Sunday, Feb. 25-27 in Chesterfield, Mo.
