The offensive efforts have been spread throughout the roster with three different players scoring so far this year and five individuals taking shots against ODU.
The Bearcats hit fast and hard with a goal in the seventh minute via senior forward

McKendree and ODU were not separated for long with the Panthers hitting back with a goal in the 13th minute to knot up the game at one each. Davis already had performed an essential role putting Stone in position for the early-match goal but he took it a step further only two minutes after ODU tied the game. Davis nabbed his first score of the season in the 15th minute, firing the ball past the Panther guard to take the lead at the 14:56 mark. The bearcats held the lead, 2-1, going into the halftime period.
The second half and overtime periods became a gritty bout between the Bearcats and hosting-Panthers, featuring six yellow cards and 18 fouls. The Panthers pushed the McKendree defense to the brink throughout half number two, recording 15 shots in the second 45. Bearcat goalkeeper
Alvaro Cortazar saved four on the six on-frame shots from the Panthers but via an assisted goal, ODU tied the match in the 65th minute.
