BOLIVAR, Mo. - McKendree University men's soccer added another conference win to its 2022 repertoire with a 1-0 victory over Southwest Baptist, improving to 5-2-4 overall and 3-1-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Bearcats have now won back-to-back games over the Bearcats of SBU. McKendree will finish the weekend with a tough road matchup at Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon.
McKendree wasted no time in the game, firing the lone goal and eventual game-winner in the fourth minute of action. Senior forward
Tony Bodul, after recording two assists last weekend as his first points, fired his first goal of the year in the Friday afternoon contest. It moved his season total to four points this fall.
On the game, McKendree more than doubled SBU's shots with 15 and eight on frame while SBU put just one of seven shots on goal. Sophomore
Anthony Swenson held the net against the Bearcats of SBU, recording one save in the contest.

With the victory on Friday, McKendree moved into fifth place in conference at 3-1-3 in league play.
