LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University baseball and head coach
Andrew Stepp announced today that its series with Purdue Northwest, scheduled for Saturday, February 26, and Sunday, February 27, has been cancelled due to travel issues for the visiting Pride of Purudue Northwest. McKendree will search for new opponents to fill out its schedule for the rest of the season.
The series was originally scheduled to be played on February 25 and 26 but due to inclement weather, was pushed back to a Saturday start with a double-header to be played on Sunday. After further complications, McKendree was informed that its opponent, PNW, would be unable to make the trip to face off against the Bearcats due to travel-related issues. The games against PNW will not be made up and the Bearcats will search for another opponent to fill out its schedule for the 2022 season.
