The elite camp will run for one day on June 20 and be held from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
McKendree's next summer camp is a Skills Camp on June 21-23 that is open to all girls entering grades 3-8 and the camp will have both a morning session (9 a.m.-12 p.m.) and an afternoon session (1-4 p.m.) and cost $35 per session or $165 for all three days and all six sessions. The campers attending the skills camp will receive a camp t-shirt and a basketball and are asked to bring their own lunch as lunch won't be provided. The skills camp will teach a variety of skills and techniques that will help the camper expand their game on both ends of the floor. The campers will receive instruction, repetition and competition opportunities to allow them to continue to improve.
The third and final summer camp is a Shooting Camp on June 24 that is open to girls in grades 3-12 and costs $65 per camper and includes a camp t-shirt, basketball and lunch. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 24 and will focus on the development of a player's ability to score, even before they catch the ball. There are a number of "tricks of the trade" that will be shared with the campers that can help develop them into more confident players on the offensive end.
