LEBANON, Ill. | Leemon Field - McKendree University men's soccer (6-1-5, 4-1-3 GLVC) collected one point in the Great Lakes Valley Conference standings on Friday night, playing to a 0-0 draw with the Bulldogs of Truman State. McKendree gets back on the pitch on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Peacocks of Upper Iowa at Leemon Field.
McKendree and Truman State faced off on a rainy Friday night with a back-and-forth bout taking place. The Bearcats fired two shots in the first half while Truman was unable to mster any true attempts. The first 45 minutes ended with little to no major action, holding 0-0 at the intermission.
In the second half, the push came from both sides as McKendree put up four shots while the Bulldogs totaled five shots and three corners. Neither squad was able to break through the defensive lines, ending the game in a 0-0 draw.
