CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - McKendree University women's soccer (6-1-3, 2-1-3 GLVC) played to a draw in its third-straight game behind a 1-1 result at Maryville on Friday afternoon. The Bearcats out-shot the Saints (RV) but were unable to push through for the final score and win. McKendree is back on the pitch on Sunday, October 8 at Missouri S&T in Rolla.
The Bearcats and Saints were null in the first half as McKendree fired four shots to Maryville's three. The intermission period came with a zero to zero score.
The ice finally broke with the Bearcats scoring in the 66th minute as senior midfielder
Katie Spotanski fired her first score of the 2023 campaign, giving McKendree 1-0 lead. The Saints fired back in the 87th with a score following a corner kick, tying the game 1-1. Neither squad could come with another score to take the victory.

Reagan Mauch and freshman midfielder
Maggie Gleckler as Mauch sent three and Gleckler fired two. Senior keeper
Abby Tucker played full time in net with five saves on the day.
