INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - McKendree women's continued conference play competing against University of Indianapolis on the road, falling to the 14-4 Greyhounds. The Bearcats move to 7-9 overall on the season.
UIndy started strong from the opening serve and did not let off until the end, defeating McKendree in three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-23, and 25-13.
Junior setter Amber Williams notched 23 assists and junior outside hitter Emma McIlhargie notched eight kills; both earned four digs on the day respectively. Sophomore defensive specialist Ashlyn Berczynski and senior outside side hitter Colleen Preusser each recorded an ace on the day. Sophomore middle blocker Hannah Kampwerth led the Bearcats in blocks with three.
