Katie Spotanski being selected following its fourth Great Lakes Valley Conference crown and seventh-straight NCAA tournament bid this fall. Bova and Stiffler each each a third-straight selection to the all-region squads while Spotanski collected her first all-region honor. Bova, Stiffler, and Spotanski collected All-GLVC honors and D2CCA All-Midwest honors.
SECOND TEAM - Morgan Bova | Gr. | Defender
Bova, a four-time All-GLVC honoree and now three-time USC All-Region selection, finished off her career with the Bearcats, helping lead a stifling defense and team to a fourth league title in eight seasons and a seventh-straight national tournament bid. The Troy, Missouri-native dished-out three assists on the season while starting in full for a third-straight season and 64-straight games. The defender owns 90 games played with 87 starts. totaling nearly 8000 minutes played.
Bova collected a third-straight first team selection in the GLVC while leading a defense that allowed just 0.62 goals per game with just 6.4 shots per game by opposing squads.
SECOND TEAM - Anna Stiffler | Sr. | Forward
Stiffler adds a third all-region honor to her resume in 2023 following her third-straight selection to the GLVC's first team and another D2CCA All-Region honor. The senior forward fired 12 goals with three assists on the campaign, totaling 27 points. She led the GLVC in goals (12, .571), game-winning goals (8, .381), shots on-frame (39, 1.86), while ranking second in points (27, 1.29). In the NCAA, she made her mark again, ranking in game winners (1st, 8), total goals (t-25th, 12), shots on-goal per game (t-32nd, 1.86), total points (43rd, 27), goals per game (t-44th, 0.57), and points per game (65th, 1.29).
For a third-straight season, the forward has tallied over 20 points while notching double-digit goals for the second consecutive year. Stiffler made history as well in 2023, setting the program's Division II career goal record with 42 so far, breaking Sydnee Carroll's mark of 38. The senior is eight away from taking McKendree's all-time record of 49, held by Sulyn Keomanivane.
THIRD TEAM - Katie Spotanski | Sr. | Midfielder
Spotanski nabbed her first postseason honors in 2023, earning an All-GLVC selection, D2CCA All-Region selection, and now USC All-Midwest honors. The senior midfielder fired seven goals with two game-winners while also dishing-out four assists for 18 points on the year. Spotanski fired the game-winner to get revenge on Rockhurst in the GLVC Quarterfinal round while assisting on the winner over Lewis in the GLVC Championship.
Bova, Stiffler, and Spotanski were also named to the GLVC's All-Tournament team following the Bearcats' fourth league crown.

SEASON NOTES
McKendree earned its fourth GLVC championship in the last eight years, pushing them to a seventh-straight NCAA tournament bid.
McKendree added six All-GLVC honorees, four GLVC All-Tournament team members, four D2CCA All-Region selections, and garnered three on the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest team.
Senior forward
Anna Stiffler set the program's NCAA DII mark for career goals with 42, breaking Sydnee Carroll's mark of 38. Stiffler seeks the program's all-time record which sits at 49.
Freshman midfielder
Maggie Gleckler earned McKendree's second-ever GLVC Freshman of the Year honors. Gleckler was also named GLVC third team and D2CCA All-Region second team.
