CEDARVILLE, Ohio | Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex - McKendree University men's soccer (2-0-0) fired three second-half goals, outlasting the Yellow Jackets of Cedarville on Saturday afternoon, 3-2. The Bearcats completed a second-straight unbeaten opening weekend with the performance as sophomore forward

The first 45 minutes of play between the Bearcats and Jackets was a nearly null outing as there were just four total shots, three total corners, and one on-frame attempt.
In the second half, both squads broke out their offensive gameplans with McKendree striking first in the 48th minute as Moore scored his first collegiate goal on a dish-out by freshman midfielder
Jay Sangha. The Bearcats led 1-0 for a short time before Cedarville leveled the contest at 1-1 in the 56th. McKendree took the lead for the final time in the 61st behind an unassisted goal by Davies, his second of the season.
The Bearcats managed to add what was an insurance score in the 77th minute as Davis blasted the goal off an assist by freshman defender
Bailey Winchurch. Davis' goal would turn into the game-winner after the Yellow Jackets scored in the 88th minute to cut the lead to just one.
