LAWRENCE, Kansas - The Women's Rugby traveled to the University of Kansas for their opener of the 2023 season. The women fell short 15-0 to the Jayhawks. It was a bright start to the season culminating in a very eventful first game despite the close loss. The team fought hard and was missing a few players that led to some key moments in the match that did not go in favor of the Bearcats.

The Bearcats return to play on Saturday, October 7 against the Southern Illinois University Salukis.
