ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – In the midst of their four-game road trip, the Bearcats battled the Lewis University Flyers on Thursday, January 18th. Lewis held the Bearcats within an arms' reach and came away with the 68-62 win.
Junior forward Milos Vicentic posted a game-high 22 points on 7-of-16 from the field and 7-of-8 from the charity stripe. Joey Niesman was also in double figures with 13 points on an efficient 5-of-6 from the field. He pulled down five rebounds and had two assists. Carson Parker was the third Bearcat in double figures with 10 points.
The Bearcats shot 21-of-51 for 41.2% from the field and an impressive 15-of-16 from the free throw line.
McKendree will wrap up the four-game road swing with a battle against the University of Indianapolis with tip scheduled for 2:00 p.m. central time.
