LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University men's volleyball is set to host King University on Friday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. for its first home game of the season. The Bearcats return to action after a three-game California trip.
McKendree will meet King for the fifth time since 2014 as the two teams last met in January of 2022. The Bearcats lead the all-time series over the Tornado 3-2.
On Saturday, Jan. 27, McKendree will travel to Maryville University for a 7 p.m. match. The Bearcats and Saints will face each other for the second time in program history as Maryville's program began in 2022.
Among notable statistics for the Bearcats' first week of action is graduate student outside hitter Kyle Wilson's career high 23 kills against Pepperdine. Redshirt senior setter Tyler Poulsen is 11th in the MIVA for blocking, averaging 0.67 per set while redshirt sophomore libero Yadiel Diaz is fifth in digs at 1.67 per set.
